4x4 Development was started in 2007 by David Hodgetts
David's background consists of a lifetime of mechanical experience, starting from a young age through watching and working with his father, who was a very successful agricultural mechanic who also worked on Land Rovers, passing his knowledge onto David. Allowing him to re-build his first Land Rover (80" Series 1) by the time he had left college.
David's vast mechanical knowledge allowed him to rise to the position of Workshop Foreman, advancing to Workshop Controller within a Main Dealership. While spending his weekends competing in various forms of Off-Road Motor Sport.
David brings over 30 years of mechanical experience to 4x4 Development.
